  I was 13 and felt an overwhelming feeling to serve god and thought the end was SOOOOO CLOSE. Plus I was making my mom and close friends really proud. I wasn’t pressured into it. I thought it was my “obligation” to Jehoober.

  My wife, “Dazeds Better Half” – told me recently that she got baptized because she thought she had to in order to date me as she related on the first page of this topic. I was raised by and OOBER JW and became a fanatical oober JW.
  

  I even considered going to Bethel with her to live out the last few years of “this old system of things” TM . This was before we had kids and way before I woke up.

  No. Quite the opposite. I felt out of place and didn’t know it as a JW. I always felt bad for the things I did, felt and thought. Now I realize how dysfunctional I was because of the org. Now I know I was a normal human with normal thoughts and feelings and the organization made me out to feel like a monster. Fuck their dysfunctionality. I hate their unbelievable negativity toward the rest of the world and it’s inhabitants. The JW's are a blackhole of dysfunctonality.... if thats even a word...

  Now I feel normal, a normal contributing member of society.

  And she did this without bothering to talk to you about it first!

  Yeaaaahhhh, pretty pathetic huh?

  And I just checked, still no friend request from her, not that I really care. I may ignor it. She never did comment or hit like anytime I posted pics and videos of her grandkids, even when I tagged her in the photo. She only seems to "like" makeup promos and airline adds? Shes a bit wakkie.

  Nope. This will be the 2nd one that I will happily not be attending. No need for me to give any inkling that I still believe their dribble.

  If I wasn't a recovering alcoholic, I would love to go and when they pass the wine, drink it all down . Stand up and drop the glass like a rapper drops the microphone and walk off...
